Imagine gliding across Lac Tremblant aboard Le Grand Manitou as your Captain points out landmarks along the 12-kilometre shoreline. The route covers more than half the lake and offers clear sightlines to Tremblant resort and the mountain, good spots to grab a photo along the way.
Throughout the 60 minutes, you’ll hear stories about the lake and the village of Mont-Tremblant, how the shoreline and the community have changed over the years, who has called it home, and what lives in and around the water. You’ll also pick up a few things about the local wildlife and plant life along the way. The cruise runs during the warmer months and requires no physical effort from participants.
Passengers who reserve in advance are guaranteed a seat if they arrive at the boat by the meeting time indicated in the reservation email, and will be assigned seats on a first-come-first-served basis at boarding time, which is just before departure. We recommend arriving even before the meeting time for those who want better seats. The cruise boat cannot wait and there are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers.
Drinks are available for purchase on board during the cruise. We also welcome groups on our regular departures or you can reserve the entire boat for a private event: a lunch, cocktail hour, office gathering, or evening supper. Contact us to talk through the options.
Who is this for
The Lake Cruise on Lac Tremblant is an easy outing for guests of all ages and fitness levels. No physical effort is needed. It’s a great fit for families, couples, and groups who want to take in the lake, hear a bit of local history, and enjoy an hour on the water. Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Age and Physical Requirements
- Free for children under 2 years old
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
- Pets are not permitted on board, with the exception of certified MIRA assistance dogs
- Electric wheelchairs are too wide for the boat’s access door. Contact us if you have accessibility questions
- Free admission for the caregiver with a disability or deficiency
Group dynamics
- Passengers who reserve in advance will be assigned seats on a first-come-first-served basis at boarding time, which is just before departure.
- Minimum 6 participants required for a departure to proceed. In rare cases where only 4–6 guests arrive, we may reschedule or issue a refund

What to expect
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Departure point: Our dock, a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk from Tremblant resort; approximately 2 hours from Montréal and Ottawa
- The parking lot near the dock is small; if it’s full, we suggest walking from Tremblant resort and taking the free shuttle back
- When the boat is at full capacity, it may be harder to hear the commentary through the speakers
- No outside food or drinks allowed on board; personal reusable water bottles are permitted

- Dress for the weather and bring a windbreaker; it can be windy on the water

- There are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers. We do recommend arriving early to get better seats.

- a reservation with important info such as driving directions for your meeting point and meeting time for your activity
- a receipt of payment
