Highlights

More information

Your ice fishing adventure starts on our private stocked pond. You’ll have 2 fishing lines to share with your group, giving you the chance to catch speckled or rainbow trout. Larger groups can add extra fishing lines when you reserve to make sure that everyone gets more time on the ice. Any fish you catch can be taken home as fillets (we prepare them for you, maximum 3 fish per line).

After ice fishing, visit our free-roam sled dog kennel. Pet the dogs, learn about their lives as working athletes, and if you’re lucky, watch teams prepare for or return from a run. Our guides have been working with Nordic dogs for over 20 years and love sharing their passion for these incredible animals.

Add a visit to Quebec’s first Athabascan wood bison reserve with one of our experienced guides. Our reserve was established to protect the gene pool if this species at rick. You’ll learn about conservation efforts while observing these amazing creatures up close—adults can weigh up to 2000 lbs!

Add snowshoeing to your day for even more of a wilderness adventure. Hike into the forest where you might spot wildlife or see tracks or traces ofwolves, lynx, snowshoe hares, grouse, and more. A  Swiss fondue sandwich and hot chocolate are included to warm you up mid-adventure.

Who is this for

Our experience is made for all ages and fitness levels. The standard ice fishing and kennel option is perfect for families with young children—there’s no minimum age, and it requires minimal physical effort. You’ll spend most of the time sitting while fishing, then walking around the kennel at your own pace.

Our option with bison tour (no snowshoeing) is also accessible to all ages and requires only short walking on groomed paths.

If you choose our snowshoeing option, participants must be at least 10 years old. This winter hike covers approximately 2-3 km and requires moderate fitness. You’ll be walking through uneven terrain in snow, so be prepared for a bit of a workout.

Beginners are welcome—no ice fishing or snowshoeing experience required. Our team will show you everything you need to know.
